    The New Balance DC 1200i Max is a Grade 1 English willow bat.

    Grade 1 English willow is the top commercially graded cleft: typically straight, evenly spaced grains across the face with minimal blemish or red wood. It plays in quickly and holds its performance through a long season.

    The A designation is the higher selection within this grade — more grains on the face and cleaner willow than the equivalent B cleft.

    New Balance brought its performance-engineering approach to cricket in 2015 and its bats are now used at the highest level of the international game.
